Developer release toolkit

Local scaffolds, release packs and QA checklists for shipping apps.

Coming soon

Affordable premium, offline-first software. Local-first; no subscription trap. Culltron Max and Ultra X27 (Ultra X27 generation). Affiliate disclosure.

What this covers

Shipping an app means checking toolchains, previewing on many screen sizes, packaging for Linux and proving exactly which artefact you built. DevBox and Forge Max cover those steps locally, without a cloud CI account.

The Culltron tools for this job

DevBox

A developer and device lab on your own machine.

  • Honest detection of installed toolchains such as adb, emulator, docker, node, godot, blender and flutter.
  • Lists Android devices and virtual devices and launches them.
  • A local web-preview server inside device frames, with 10 viewport profiles. iOS frames are viewport-only.
  • Docker status plus devcontainer and compose file generators.
  • Packaging helpers: .desktop entries, a Debian skeleton, an AppImage recipe and real tarballs.
  • A connector for building on a remote Mac you have legal access to. It does not virtualise macOS.

Ultra X27: inspects 1–20 finished release artefacts (APK, AAB, IPA or ZIP) and produces a local SHA-256 integrity receipt and checksum list.

Limits: Integrity receipts are local checksums, not release approval or a publisher signature.

Forge Max

An AI-assisted creator and developer workspace. It is not a clone of Unity or Blender.

  • Scaffolds six runnable projects: a 2D web game, a web-app prototype, a Three.js scene, a Godot 4 project, a Python simulation and a Blender render kit.
  • 10 parametric script generators for GDScript, JavaScript, Python and C#.
  • Engine adapters for Godot and Blender when they are installed.
  • Deterministic source handoff archives with per-file SHA-256 and generated README and release-brief documents.
  • A preflight step that blocks secrets, symlinks, oversized files and unsafe destinations, and never overwrites an existing archive.

Limits: Handoff archives are source snapshots. They are not built, signed or published releases.

Who it is for

How it works

  1. Each Max app is a separate desktop product built on Culltron's shared, hardened platform.
  2. Files and records stay in a local folder on your machine, and the core tools work offline.
  3. A signed licence lease unlocks the paid edition. Ultra X27 adds advanced features that the server enforces.
  4. When you change a file, the app writes a new copy, often with a checksum receipt, instead of silently overwriting your original.

Frequently asked questions

Does DevBox emulate iOS or macOS?

No. iOS frames are viewport-only previews, and macOS builds go through a connector to a remote Mac you have legal access to. DevBox does not virtualise macOS.

What does the integrity receipt prove?

It records the SHA-256 checksums and archive checks of the files you selected (Ultra X27). It is not a release approval or a publisher signature.

Will a handoff archive leak my API keys?

The preflight step blocks secrets, symlinks, oversized files and unsafe destinations before an archive is written.

Do I need Docker installed?

Only for the Docker features. DevBox honestly detects which tools are present and reports the missing ones.

Release status: built and tested in the repository. A public download appears only after signing, checksum verification and release approval; see Downloads.
