Culltron API Terms of Use

Effective date: 14 October 2026

These Terms govern access to the Culltron APIs listed on the RapidAPI Hub ("the APIs"). They are entered into between you (the "Consumer") and Culltron (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/455284/07, a private company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa ("Culltron", "we"). By subscribing to or calling any API you accept these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy (Acceptable Use Policy) and the Privacy Policy (Privacy Policy). If you act for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.

1. Supplier information (ECTA section 43)

2. Access, accounts and RapidAPI

2.1 Access is only through a RapidAPI subscription. RapidAPI's own terms also apply, and RapidAPI handles billing, payment, invoicing and refunds for subscriptions.
2.2 You must keep your RapidAPI key secret. You are responsible for all calls made with your key.
2.3 One free account per person or entity. Each individual, company or group of related companies may hold at most one free (BASIC) subscription per API. Creating or using multiple accounts, sub-accounts, aliases, email variants or keys, or rotating keys, applications or accounts to get more free usage or to get around quotas, rate limits or blocks, is prohibited.
2.4 Free plans are a no-charge evaluation allowance. They are not intended for production workloads, can be changed or withdrawn at any time, and carry no support commitment.

3. Plans, quotas and limits

3.1 Each plan has the quota and rate limit shown on RapidAPI. Launch plans are hard-limited: once the quota is reached, requests are refused until the next period, and no overage is charged.
3.2 We may impose further technical limits (daily caps, payload sizes, timeouts, endpoint availability per plan) to protect the service. Some resource-intensive endpoints may be available on paid plans only.
3.3 We may change plans, prices, quotas or endpoints. We will give at least 30 days' notice on the listing for any adverse price change to a paid plan. The change takes effect at your next billing period.

4. Acceptable use

You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not scrape, bulk-harvest, mirror or cache API output to build a competing dataset or service. You must not resell, sublicense, white-label or re-expose the APIs (or a substantially similar interface to them) to third parties without our written consent. Using API output inside your own end-user product is permitted.

5. Suspension and termination

5.1 We may throttle, suspend or terminate any key, account or subscription without prior notice if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or the AUP, that your use threatens the security, availability or cost of the service, or that we are required to do so by law. Where practical, we will tell you why at the email address on your RapidAPI account.
5.2 Where suspension follows a breach (including multiple-account or quota-evasion abuse), no refund is owed for the remainder of the period, to the extent the law allows.
5.3 You may stop using the APIs at any time by cancelling on RapidAPI.

6. Outputs: no advice and no reliance

The APIs provide automated technical utilities and indicators. Outputs may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. They are not legal, tax, financial, investment, credit, compliance, identity-verification, medical or security advice or certification. Validation endpoints (e.g. email, phone, IBAN, tax-ID) check format, checksum or public signals only. They do not confirm ownership, existence or eligibility. You are solely responsible for reviewing outputs and for decisions you make with them.

7. Your data

You may only submit data that you are lawfully entitled to process. You must minimise personal information and must not submit special personal information, information about children, or credentials unless strictly necessary and lawful. As between the parties, you are the responsible party (POPIA) or controller for personal information you submit, and Culltron processes it as an operator on your behalf, only to return the response (see the Privacy Policy). You warrant that you have a lawful basis and that any required notices and consents are in place.

8. Intellectual property

Culltron keeps all rights in the APIs, software, documentation and listings. You keep rights in your inputs. Subject to these Terms, you may use outputs in your own products.

9. Warranties

The APIs are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Culltron gives no warranties, express or implied, including of availability, accuracy, fitness for purpose or non-infringement. No SLA applies unless one is separately agreed in writing. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies.

10. Limitation of liability

10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Culltron is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for loss arising from your reliance on any output.
10.2 Culltron's total liability arising from or related to the APIs in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the subscription fees you paid for the affected API in that period and (b) USD 100. For free plans, the limit is (b) only.
10.3 These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, for fraud or gross negligence).

11. Indemnity

You indemnify Culltron against third-party claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your inputs, your use of outputs, your breach of these Terms or the AUP, or your breach of law (including POPIA).

12. Security and incident reporting

Report vulnerabilities or suspected key compromise to support@culltron.app. You must not test security beyond normal documented API use.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties will first try to resolve disputes by good-faith negotiation for 20 business days. Thereafter the parties consent, under section 45 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 32 of 1944, to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court for the district of Chatsworth, KwaZulu-Natal. Any matter beyond that court's jurisdiction goes to the High Court of South Africa, KwaZulu-Natal Division. This applies without excluding the jurisdiction of a court or tribunal where you are entitled by law to bring a claim.

14. General

We may update these Terms by publishing a new version with a new effective date. Continued use after that date means you accept the new version. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. Notices to Culltron go to support@culltron.app, and legal process goes to the registered address above.
