DevBox in depth
DevBox
A developer and device lab on your own machine.
- Honest detection of installed toolchains such as adb, emulator, docker, node, godot, blender and flutter.
- Lists Android devices and virtual devices and launches them.
- A local web-preview server inside device frames, with 10 viewport profiles. iOS frames are viewport-only.
- Docker status plus devcontainer and compose file generators.
- Packaging helpers: .desktop entries, a Debian skeleton, an AppImage recipe and real tarballs.
- A connector for building on a remote Mac you have legal access to. It does not virtualise macOS.
Ultra X27: inspects 1–20 finished release artefacts (APK, AAB, IPA or ZIP) and produces a local SHA-256 integrity receipt and checksum list.
Limits: Integrity receipts are local checksums, not release approval or a publisher signature.
How it works
- It is a separate desktop product on Culltron's shared, hardened platform, with its own full editor and local workspace.
- A local, authenticated runtime serves the editor. Your files stay on your machine.
- A signed licence lease unlocks the paid edition, and Ultra X27 features are enforced by the server, not just hidden.
- Changes write new copies, usually with checksum receipts, so originals are not overwritten.

What are the limits of DevBox?

Can I download DevBox today?
Not yet publicly. Builds are tested, but a public download appears only after signing, checksum verification and release approval.
Release status: built and tested in the repository. A public download appears only after signing, checksum verification and release approval; see Downloads. Source of these facts: the product's engineering README.
