What Sentinel checks, and what it doesn't
Status, 14 October 2026: Culltron desktop apps are launch candidates. Access is gated and no public installer is published yet. This page describes how the product works today in our release candidates.
Short answer: Sentinel shows you the security controls behind every Culltron runtime and runs bounded, on-demand local checks. It is not antivirus, EDR or continuous fleet protection.
What Sentinel shows
- Loopback-only runtimes: services bind to your machine, not the open network.
- Per-user token: every runtime is gated by a token for your user.
- Host allow-list: only explicitly allowed hosts can talk to a runtime.
- Scoped file access: apps get only the files they are given.
- Signed offline lease status.
What it doesn't do
Sentinel does not replace your antivirus or endpoint protection, and it does not monitor a fleet of machines.
