Culltron editions explained: Lite, Max and Ultra X27
Status, 14 October 2026: Culltron desktop apps are launch candidates. Access is gated and no public installer is published yet. This page describes how the product works today in our release candidates.
Short answer: Lite is the free edition bundled with Culltron OS. Max is the paid professional edition. Ultra X27 is the flagship edition: everything in Max, plus Aria AI.
Lite (inside Culltron OS)
Lite apps ship with Culltron OS and are not sold separately. For example, PDF Lite reads, searches and annotates PDFs, merges, splits and reorders pages, and fills simple forms.
Max (paid)
Max is the professional edition. It includes everything in Lite and adds the deeper tools. PDF Max, for example, adds in-place text and image editing, conversion to and from Office formats, OCR for scanned documents, and signing and redaction.
Ultra X27 (flagship)
Ultra X27 is a strict superset of Max. It adds Aria, the in-app AI assistant, powered by a local model, your own provider key or Culltron Cloud.
Where do I see my edition?
App Hub installs, updates and licenses every Culltron app, and shows the upgrade path: Lite inside the OS, Max for pros, Ultra X27 for flagship AI.
