Office Max export formats: what's supported today
Status, 14 October 2026: Culltron desktop apps are launch candidates. Access is gated and no public installer is published yet. This page describes how the product works today in our release candidates.
People searching for an offline office suite usually want one thing: files that open anywhere. Here is exactly what Office Max exports today, including what it doesn't.
Supported exports
- Documents: DOCX, PDF, HTML and Markdown
- Sheets: XLSX and CSV
- Slides: PDF
Exports carry no watermark. When you open a DOCX or XLSX file, Office Max previews anything it can't keep before you start editing, so nothing is lost silently.
Not supported yet
Office Max does not export PPTX today. Slide decks export to PDF. We'd rather tell you that up front than have you find out after a meeting.
Works offline
Office Max opens and edits files with no connection. Every document keeps a local version history, so you can roll back any change without the cloud.

About Office Max
Office Max
Documents, spreadsheets and slide decks in one offline-first desktop app.
- A rich-text document editor with a structured citation registry, deterministic numbering and a bibliography you can refresh.
- A spreadsheet formula engine running in the app, with 103 user-facing functions, A1 ranges and dependency recalculation that detects circular references.
- A slide editor with a Present mode.
- DOCX and XLSX import with a review step. Before a copy is made, the app shows what will be lost and what is supported. The original file is kept unchanged and is verified by checksum.
- DOCX and XLSX export of the supported subset, plus local drafts and autosave.
- A signed offline licence lease, so you can keep working without a connection.
Limits: Imports cover a supported subset; Word citation fields and syncing with external reference managers are not claimed. Import reports are local checksums, not a guarantee of full fidelity.
Release status: built and tested in the repository. A public download appears only after signing, checksum verification and release approval; see Downloads.
